How to become a student!

1.Free 20 minute sample lesson

All student and teacher pairs will have a free 20 minute sample lesson to see if the lesson is possible.

2. School Entrance Fee

There is a 5000 yen school entrance fee to become a student.
(However, you also get one buy one get one free coupon to a weekend buffet!)

3. Teacher/Student Selection

All teachers and students have the right to turn down or accept each other for lessons, this is also available after lessons have started with a week notice.
(Multiple Teachers are also OK for students who want to practice with various people.)

4. One-to-One 70 Minute Lesson : 3000 Yen (Maximum)
Private 70 Minute Group Lesson: Additional 1000 Yen per Student

5.Negotiable Fees:

The teacher and student have the right to negotiate fees down from 3000 yen if both agree to do so (Ex. One week, 3 lessons, 8000 yen; 1000 discount)
(THIS SHOULD BE WRITTEN DOWN AND SIGNED BY EACH PARTY WITH A COPY HELD BY BOTH STUDENT AND TEACHER IN CASE OF A DISPUTE). All Lessons are paid directly from the student to the teacher at the time of the lesson ?convenience. However, under negotiated fees, per week, or even per month is possible, as long as both parties have signed a written agreement, to solve any disputes if such arise.

6.Late Lesson Fee

If the teacher is late for a lesson above 10 minutes, the next lesson for the student is 500 yen off if the time cannot be made up on the day.
If the student is late for a lesson above 10 minutes, they lose the 10 minutes for that lesson, or they can pay an extra 500 yen.
If either party is late over 30 minutes without contact, the next lesson is free/double price depending on? the person being late being the teacher/student.

7.Cancellation Method

If the cancellation is a day in advanced there is no penalty
(However, if a consistent problem, please contact the Cow-Go directly and request a new teacher)
If the student is a no-show, the lesson is a 100% loss and must be paid at next meeting, if the teacher is a no-show, the next lesson can be doubled, or the usual 70 minutes, but for free.

8. Weekend Classes

Weekend Classes will be held at the Pink Cow in the afternoons for 1500 yen a person (80 minutes) However, as of now, English is the only language available.

9. Special Classes

Various Experts from Tokyo have signed up to give lessons in guitar, art, and even cooking. If you have any interest in studying some of these fields in a different language, please send a mail to cow-go@thepinkcow.com

10. Conversation Cafe

We are currently building a conversation cafe that is 1000 yen an hour and will be held during lunch time at the Pink Cow on the weekends, reservations are required! For more details please send a mail to cow-go@thepinkcow.com
